Nothing Phone (2) Unveiled: Specs, Price, and Availability

Nothing, led by Carl Pei, has officially launched its second smartphone, the Nothing Phone (2). The Phone (2) features a flagship Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and will be available starting at a price of ₹44,999. It will be released on July 21 and can be purchased from Flipkart and select retail outlets.

Specifications of the Nothing Phone (2):

The Nothing Phone (2) brings significant upgrades compared to its predecessor, particularly in terms of battery life, day-to-day performance, and camera capabilities. Instead of the Snapdragon 778G processor, the Phone (2) is equipped with the more powerful Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, paired with Adreno 730 GPU. Nothing claims that this processor upgrade will result in an impressive 80 percent boost in performance compared to the previous generation.

The primary camera of the Phone (2) features a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor with an f/1.88 aperture and a 1/1.56-inch sensor size. It incorporates optical image stabilization (OIS), electronic image stabilization (EIS), and various advanced features such as Motion Photo, Super-res Zoom, AI scene detection, Expert mode, and Document Mode.

In addition to the primary sensor, the Phone (2) also boasts a 50MP f/2.2 Samsung JN1 sensor ultra-wide-angle camera with EIS and a 114-degree field of view. On the front, it sports a 32MP Sony IMX615 sensor with an f/2.45 aperture and a 1/2.74-inch sensor size.

The Nothing Phone (2) is powered by a 4700mAh battery and supports 45W PPS charging, enabling the device to reach 100% battery capacity in just 55 minutes. It also introduces significant improvements to the Glyph interface and features the new Nothing OS 2.0, which aims to enhance smartphone interactions with a focus on intentionality and mindfulness.

Price and Availability of the Nothing Phone (2) in India:

The Nothing Phone (2) will be available for purchase starting from ₹44,999 through Flipkart and select retail outlets, beginning on July 21. The smartphone comes in different variants: the 8GB RAM/128GB storage variant is priced at ₹44,999, the 12GB RAM/128GB storage variant at ₹49,999, and the 12GB RAM/256GB storage variant at ₹54,999.

Customers who have pre-order passes will have the opportunity to select their desired variant and place their order between July 11, 9 PM, and July 20, 11:59 PM on Flipkart. Additionally, they will be eligible for an instant discount of ₹3,000 when using Axis and HDFC bank debit or credit cards.
